The New Girl On The Block

I have never blogged until now. My cousin thought this would be a great way for me to express my thoughts, feelings, and share my life with those who are very closed to me but live far away. In my future postings I will be talking about love, sex, relationships, my dancing, running and my life as a nurse.
For those who don't know me very well I used to dance and one day I stopped. I recently started dancing again and taking classes. Now I have a partner to practice with and hopefully one day compete. I practice the salsa, rumba, cha cha cha, waltz, tango, fox trot, quick step, and east coast swing.

I run about 3 to 5 miles a day but as I get closer to my races I will pick up my distances. I have a few 1/2 marathons coming up this year. I work about 5 to 6 days a week 12 hours shifts and I primarily do adult care from trauma icu, neuro icu, cardiovascular icu, surgical icu, emergency and PACU (post op care). I work for a trauma facility and an amazing agency who is always finding me work. My life is busy but I am planner and keep myself very organized. This way I have time for friends, love, sex, and a relationship.
In order to be happy and feel total fulfillment with yourself you must always love yourself and keep a balance in your life. Tomas Merton once said, “Happiness is not a matter of intensity but of balance, order, rhythm and harmony.”
